So gentle and beautiful Joni ,like I imagine our passage through the tunnel. will be. I love this imagery:
«God opens Heaven’s Gate,

One time an older woman friend of mine who had lost her husband recently, told me she has dreamed about him. He came to her in the dream and said, «Señora, did you know that our souls are tiny tiny like this and he held up his thumb and finger almost pinched together» It was like the size of a firefly..and that exact image stuck in my mind too after that.
Your passage to heaven exudes peace, reuniting us to all who left before.. Gorgeous visuals, sailing in this boat along your flowing words. Thank you for another beutiful poem to think about and congratulations on your publication here.❤️

Dear Karima, thank you so very much for your insightful comment. How interesting that the woman had a visit and what he said, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if that is indeed precisely what it is like. Our earthly bodies may just disappear, and we talk with our spirits and recognize people with our hearts (the very soul of who were are.) I can’t begin to imagine how beautiful heaven will be. Revelations talks about the gate being one large pearl. I know it is full of symbolism. Interesting that John who was eventually boiled in oil because he would not die, had no effect on him either, so he was put away on the island of Patmos, a prison island, to die. He wrote the book of Revelations. Anyway, it is very difficult to read that scripture. We will meet each other in heaven if not before, too, I just know it. You will be glowing very brightly, I suspect. Whatever Heaven will be like it will be amazing. We can not grasp the beauty of it. Thank you Karima for reading my work it means a lot to me. Oh, thank you, Cindy. I appreciate your kind words and the good vibes. We can use them; our Realtor’s husband had a stroke, so he could use the prayers more. We are really praying for him. We have dropped the price twice on the house and want to buy a home in VA in the mountains. Our Realtor, who is very special, must focus on her husband. We will keep looking as the prices are dropping there as well. We are so blessed that we haven’t had a mortgage in 17 years but live modestly. We have everything that anyone needs to be considered extremely blessed. God has been so good to us. Thanks again Cindy and I look forward to hopefully reading you again soon. Big hugs and love, Joni
