“The seeds” by Vasile Tri

The seeds deafeningly dislodge chunks of concrete

that scale over each other

matter insensitive to pain disintegrates as a wax seal

now their bodies explode into thousands of sun

in an unearthly reverence

as the zephyr

they gracefully step over the dust
