Rain taps on our window, flowers push their way through dirt, the sun kisses our cheek. Rejoice in birthing hope and faith. Say goodbye to darkness and despair, making room for light: Finding renewal. Grateful for new eyes to see, embrace each moment, blessed are we. The sun behind the dark cloud, forces us to dig deep and hold our fragile and broken parts. Solace in earth angels, pull us out of our depths of despair. None of us are immune and no one gets a free ride. Savor the moments alone and with others. A smile, a hug, the singing birds that awaken us. Love is everlasting and as we stretch our arms to greet the morning sun, the dark cloud descends, and spring renews us once again. Copyright © 2023 Cindy Georgakas All Rights Reserved

This is such a beautiful tribute to the renewal of Spring…When I lived in Wisconsin, Spring was sometimes desperately awaited after long harsh winters. Your words describe so perfectly this feeling of awe to realize Spring is really here. Hope is in the air and oh my..love too..It seems all of Nature is open to love. Gorgeous writing Cindy and congratulations on your publication here.🌷🌷🌷🦋

Thank you so much darling Karmima. Oh you would know more that anybody and what do I know from Cali but like you, I’ve been spoiled with sun now in Costa Rica, which I love!
But yes indeed spring is such a hopeful inspiring season and love is in the air.
Hugs to you my friend!! 💞

I can relate, Karima. I lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Minnesota, and Montana. Late Spring! Short summers!

Oh boy so true…Sometimes March would come in like a lion and go out like one too…Spring was so appreciated when it actually arrived 🙂

My pleasure Cindy…your words really gave me that old Spring Fever:)

Good to hear your taps. The bugle plays taps for the bear to go into hibernation even though he’s not in the army. Taps on the window sill can be a trumpet fanfare for Spring to appear. To love in-between optimism and floods takes a lot of tap dancing and not a cakewalk though brioche is a moment to savor and bread for the birds given so they will let the seeds be driven into the ground by a gentle rain that finally comes to tap on the window like a signal to look anew on what might yet be. Timing makes the tune.

Thanks so much Doug for your bugle to welcome and invite spring that’s been in hibernation and dancing feet to see anew! 💗
