“Prized Possession” by Jeff Flesch

I look in the mirror
and find
a reflection, known to none, yet
known to all

a persona of nature
and of soul, dancing within
an interlude, a prized possession –
desire

feeding troubles
and feeding harmony

a paradox of humanity
and of the cosmos

hidden from view
yet, a part of you

Thank you. Jeff! I like the image of the cosmos, which show the expanse of love, sometimes hidden from view inside of us. Macro and micro.

Looking in the mirror we often see others, this is beautifully written. I guess those feelings we have which can be both happy and sad help us to know we are alive. Another beautiful piece dear Jeff. Blessing, hugs and love, Joni

Thank you always, Joni. I love your reflection, and completely agree. We do see others as reflections of ourselves, and all emotions do help us remember our aliveness. Big hugs, love, and blessings, my friend.
