Everything’s Gonna Be Alright

The majestic sky moves boulders from my inner terrain.
Wet pearls drop as I spill my heart and soul.
Life’s travesties leave me mourning your touch and the memory of the times we shared that gave me courage to face another day.
It is here I dip into my inner resource’s when the ink’s gone dry and I sit befuddled, lonely and despondent.
These are the days I melt in a puddle and let the children splash in my sorrow and then catch a glimmer of your smile reflected and I hear your words don’t worry every little thing is gonna be alright.
I grab my galoshes, never mind the umbrella and join the children and bid you a good night and toast to the memory of you.
Of course you are always right!
Everything is more than alright,
as the moon kisses the sun goodnight.
